What is a natural mascara and how is it different from a classic mascara?
A natural mascara must have a formula of at least 95% natural origin (99.6% at Pomponne). It is free from controversial ingredients such as endocrine disruptors, for example.
Do natural mascaras contain animal-derived ingredients?
Natural does not mean vegan; some natural mascaras on the market are therefore not vegan. At Pomponne, all our makeup is natural AND vegan. We have chosen to formulate without animal-derived ingredients, so for example formulated without beeswax, without lanolin, and without carmine pigment from cochineals.
Does a natural mascara have the same hold as a classic mascara?
Normally, not really... but we had Pomponne Volumizing & Lengthening mascara tested by makeup artists who validated its good hold throughout the day, unlike a standard natural mascara.
How to choose the right mascara?
It is difficult to choose a good mascara. Whether you have thin lashes, straight lashes, or sparse lashes, Pomponne nourishing mascara seems to be a good alternative if you are looking for a volumizing mascara. When applying, zigzag motions can lead to a better result.
What color should you choose for your mascara?

Can I use a natural mascara if I have sensitive eyes?
Pomponne volumizing mascara has been clinically tested on sensitive eyes, so you can use it without fear.
Do you offer natural waterproof mascaras?
Pomponne nourishing mascara is not a waterproof mascara. This requires not-so-great ingredients that we prefer to remove from our formula. This does not impact its very good hold throughout the day.
