Hello Pomponnette,
Oh my goodness, we had a special guest the other day, we're talking about the star of moisturizers: Aloe vera.
No need to introduce it in its role as a moisturizer, it has often been the headliner in many cosmetology films! Indeed, for 1750 years before our era, Aloe vera has been recognized for its regenerating, soothing and moisturizing properties.
Your stage name is Aloe vera, but what do your friends call you?
You can call me Barbados aloe or by my family name "Succulent" - it suits me, doesn't it? - .
What kinds of roles can you play?
I am quite versatile, with my latex - yellow sap that I hide just under the outer part of my leaf -, I can play the role of a laxative since, believe it or not, I contain 20% to 40% anthranoids, which are purgative substances.
Thanks to my gel - clear mucilage found at the heart of my leaves - I've had great roles in cosmetology and dermatology as a moisturizer, soother, sebum regulator, plumper, healer, and even as an after-sun product! By the way, if you have me at home and you burn yourself, try this: cut one of my leaves, press it, and apply the substance that comes out to your burn, you'll see, it's magic!
And also, as I am, I have very beautiful roles in decoration - as an ornamental plant - so there, it's more like an extra role.
When you're not on stage, what do you do in your free time, dear Aloe vera?
I really enjoy gardening and having drinks with my friend Jean-Michel eucalyptus, I think you know him, he's pretty well-known too ;)
Do you have a secret to share with us?
You know, I believe a lot in signs, and I've noticed that when I grow, I attract fortune wherever I am. Whereas when I wither, it's because I've absorbed bad energies - both electromagnetic waves and bad spirits -. People consider me a lucky charm plant that protects their home and attracts positivity, it's a real popular belief - and you, do you believe it? Do you have a cousin of mine in your living room? -
Throughout your career, what has been your greatest distinction as Aloe vera?
I was certified ORGANIC, which is not the case for all my colleagues, that's why I got the role to be in the natural and moisturizing lipstick Pomponne.
Tell us about your role in Pomponne's natural and moisturizing lipstick:
Agathe & Charline heard about me, thanks to my worldwide reputation. So, they contacted me and told me they would be interested in my gel for their Pomponne natural and moisturizing lipstick.
They were interested in both my skills as a moisturizer and my positive spirit and lucky charm aspect. So I won the role of "active smile". Their only requirement was that I had to be ORGANIC certified, because they wanted to be sure not to find any pesticide residues, fungicides, and other elements from monocultures.
There you go, Pomponnette, now you know everything about our Aloe vera, and you, in what role do you prefer Aloe vera? In cosmetics or as an ornamental plant?
Let's spread the Smile Power,
Agathe & Charline
