What's your name?
It's a pleasure, I am Undaria pinnatifida but some of my friends call me Wakame.
What's your background?
I come from Brittany, but my ancestor is from South Korea. He arrived in France a long time ago, and since then, we've all settled in Saint-Malo. We grew on submerged ropes in the open sea, in a sustainable and eco-responsible way.
After that, I wanted to be useful, so I let fishermen hand-pick me — to ensure the longevity of my species, you see — to be used to nourish, hydrate, and add volume to the lips of Pomponnettes — super nice girls who always have a smile —.
I do this every year, from March to June — those are the months when I can be picked! —
What are your 3 strengths?
- Multitasking: I can nourish, repair, and add volume to lips.
- Eco-responsible: Pomponne caring lipsticks use my lower part, but I give my upper part to the food industry — I hate waste —.
- Qualified: I can prove everything I can do with clinical tests.
Explain your qualification to me?
I underwent a clinical test, where I was incorporated into a balm at the same concentration as in Pomponne lipsticks. This balm was applied to 30 volunteers aged 45, twice a day, for 1 month.
The results are as follows:
--> Improves hydration
- Immediate: +14% on average and up to +44%
- 28 days: +17% on average and up to +53%
--> Adds volume to lips
- From 14 days: +21% on average and up to +68.1%
- After 28 days: +19% on average and up to +56.7%
