The Blank Page Syndrome

Foundation is the "blank page": the starting point, the basis of everything; without it, you can't go any further.
And if the blank page is messy, the story you write on it will be less clear. So, having a nice, even complexion is important for the rest of your makeup routine! - You know the blank page syndrome? That stress of not being able to write the first word? Well, it's a bit like when you have to find THE right shade of foundation! -

Then, when you write, there are rules of composition: you start the sentence with a capital letter, you punctuate it with commas to link words together, to catch your breath, and then you end it with punctuation.

In makeup, it's the same - well, almost -...

 

Don't forget the Capitals, they are capital!

The capital letter is the gaze! It's the eyes that capture attention and express emotion; they are how we begin to read a face.
So, we'll pay special attention to mascara and eyebrows, which intensify the gaze.

Eyeshadow is optional, like choosing a font style. - Do we calligraphy our capital letter or make it a block capital! -

Punctuation is the mouth! How do you want to end the sentence? What mood are you in?

Vibrant mouth: I exclaim, it's the "!", Nude mouth: I leave doubt with "...", and the question: purple, blue... - legitimate to ask why? -

Between the capital letter and the full stop, there are commas, which come between the eyes and the mouth, therefore on the cheeks… - suspense suspense - it's blush!
It structures the face just as the comma structures the sentence! So don't underestimate the power of blush ;)

There you go, you know how to tell a story through your makeup; it has the power to express your personality, different styles, different moods…

You can write an autobiography: natural, signature, everyday makeup. It's not necessarily nude, by the way; a "red lip" can be characteristic of a person - it's Carine's signature! -.

You can write novels: for special occasions! You tell different stories: your best friend's wedding, a Tinder date, an important meeting… - You wouldn't wear the same makeup for these 3 occasions, would you? -.

But be careful… you can also create a thriller: oh dear... that's the blunder, and you appear as something you don't want to… So, beware of "makeup faux pas"!
