10 astuces maquillage pour avoir l'air moins fatiguée

Hello Pomponnette,

We were wondering: have you ever received that delicate remark, "ooooh, you look tired!"? Because we - unfortunately - have...

Whether it's a night out with friends that lasted until dawn, work giving you insomnia, or the apple of your eye not sleeping through the night... it's understandable to struggle to get out of bed!

10 astuces maquillage pour avoir l'air moins fatiguée

So, you're asking yourself how to look less tired? Well, we have a makeup tutorial for you in 10 quick steps that will help you naturally camouflage those missing hours of sleep - yes, we've been there! -.

  • The right "pre-makeup" step

Tip n°1:

First things first - once you've managed to get out of bed after hitting snooze 15 times - apply a warm cloth to your face for a few seconds, then mist your face with some cool water: the hot/cold contrast improves skin firmness and helps you wake up!

  • Complexion

Tip n°2: Smoothing primer

If you have a smoothing primer, it will help smooth your features which tend to sag - even more - when you're at the end of your rope! Otherwise, the basic rule is to hydrate your skin well with your usual cream.

Tip n°3: BB cream

Forget foundation, which tends to highlight features. We prefer a nude BB cream - as natural as possible - to brighten your pale complexion - let's not mince words! -.

Tip n°4: Concealer

Of course, we won't skip the "concealer" step, and to brighten your eyes even more, choose a shade lighter than your foundation.

  • Eyes

Tip n°5: Eyeshadow

Make the effort to apply a light beige eyeshadow to widen your eyes; if it's shimmery, the result will be even better - sparkle away, Pomponnette! -.

Tip n°6: Dark pencil

Take a dark pencil (black, dark brown, navy blue...) and draw a line along your upper lash line - and on your lack of sleep - to further widen your eyes.

Tip n°7: White pencil

For your lower lash line, take a white pencil and apply it to your waterline: the result is stunning! - Did you sleep badly? My eye! -

Tip n°8: Highlighter

The bonus: a touch of highlighter in the inner corner of your eye and even in the hollow under your brow bone - pro tip right there! -.

Tip n°9: Eyebrows

Shape your eyebrows to intensify your gaze, but forget the trendy "big brow" look which will only weigh down your tired little eyes... Comb and redraw them without overdoing it.

  • Lips

Tip n°10: Lipstick

Even when tired, dare to pull out your poppy red lipstick, which instantly gives you a healthy glow! If you're shy, coral or orange also work. Avoid cool tones, which will have the opposite effect - that would be a shame! -.

There you go, Pomponnette, it's not so complicated to look less tired, is it?
We hope you'll adopt these 10 makeup tips, but most importantly, that you'll catch up on your sleep, because it's important to sleep well :)

Alright, good night!
